Mazzocco & Matrix: mmmmmm! & Sip! Sip!
Headed out recently to visit Mazzocco Sonoma Winery- meeting with Karen at their lovely location on Lytton Springs Road, which, it so happens, is very convenient to the Healdsburg Airport.

Karen tells me about the Wine Club with the incredible perk of rental access to the Mazzocco Three-Bedroom Guesthouse- some guests fly in and walk on over. Sonoma Helicopter provides transportation and tours, too- what a great bird’s eye view! The day I am visiting is breezy and warm- great visibility. Would be fun to be staying here, too- with advance notice, Jimtown Old-Fashioned Box Lunches can be ordered- and then eaten in the picnic area with delicious Mazzocco wines.

Karen talks about the Scholarship fund set up by the Wilson Family that each of the Wilson Family Wineries supports:
Established in 2002 by the Wilson family, our goal is to raise enough money to meet the demands of all deserving applicants and to build the endowment fund for a legacy of ongoing success. We believe that the children of those who work the vineyards of Sonoma County should not be limited in their pursuit of educational opportunities by financial constraints.
The Wilson Family will match all funds up to $100,000.
100% of your dollars go directly to the scholarship fund.

Artwork adorns the walls in the newly updated-painted-fixtured-zapped-up TR at Matrix!
This Westside Road winery is situated at the peaceful end of a driveway lined with blooming flowers leading to the TR with its great views of the surrounding vineyards and hills. Matrix- another jewel in the family of Wilson wineries-
The Sip Sip Lounge- I am a total sucker for glass block.
