Medlock Ames: FAM Adventure #2

 

My FAM tour fun continues with Rick Spear, Blue Heron Custom Tours & Travel, and our five SF Bay Area concierges, taking a tour through the Alexander Valley, via Chalk Hill Road.  We arrive at Medlock Ames TR and are swept up with the cool, retro-farmhouse/country vibe, clean architectural lines, wooden construction, exquisite lighting fixtures,  expansive grounds and gardens and the surrounding vines, all swept clean by a brisk northerly breeze, keeping the sky very blue and the clouds smartly scudding.

We are met by knowledgeable staff who not only provide information on the winery and winery families, but also impart background on Bell Mountain Ranch.  This occurs at the tasting bar while wines are deliciously paired up with tasty snacks- conversation is lively in the comfy TR, lots to look at and places to recline should the need to lounge arise….
