Heaven Condensed: TR’s Summer Ramblings

Wine Road Summertime- and the living is easy….view from the terrace @ Merriam.

Recently traveling Wine Road through the warmth and soft-light of summertime, I visit Merriam Vineyards, a hop-skip-and-a-jump from downtown Healdsburg on Los Amigos Road, visible from Highway 101 as that gorgeous set of buildings and vineyards on the east side of the freeway.  (Eastside Regatta Event is this weekend:  11am – 4pm, Saturday, 4  August!)

I am at Merriam for an industry event- and what a time I have!  I am with Stacie Tamaki, Flirty Blog, enjoying her company and her  further lessons in photography on my Wine Road Camera:

Stacie Tamaki demonstrates the food blogger skill of Capturing the Delicious Food.

Feeling nautical at the Merriam TR…very yar…

Zin Restaurant caters the event….

Practice, practice, practice….

Stacie’s post outlines the food in delicious detail- click here.

Next we are off and running to the Alexander Valley- specifically to that icon of deliciousness, Jimtown Store- these photos are actually taken over two days- we went back for lunch!  Click here for Stacie’s take on the day.

From Left, by Stacie Tamaki: Carrie Brown, Queen of Jimtown, and Tracy- hey, is this one of those sister-sister separated at birth shots? (Tiny Chickens available for sale- Stacie and I both got one….)

Heading just up the road now to Stonestreet Wines:

I LOVE these Stonestreet planters with feet- mucho Medieval.

These Summertime perambulations are just part of living along the Wine Road…truly Heaven Condensed.

Here’s looking at you, kids.
